Come see my short play — as yet unnamed and unwritten!
It will be featured as part of the Woman’s Will 24-Hour Play Fest. Seven women meet our casts and director, and are given our play topics, at 11 p.m. Sunday. We will write plays in the wee hours (midnight to 7 am) Monday, March 20, 2006.
The plays go on, blocked and rehearsed, with scripts memorized, at 8 p.m. that evening at the Julia Morgan Theater, 2640 College Avenue, Berkeley, CA.
This is year #2 for my participation. The fact is that writing in the middle of the night brings about a bit of psychic disintegration. Last year’s play “Tornado,” was well-received, if moderately baffling.
It’s for a great cause, and tax-deductible, of course. They like to say, “Anything can happen!”
